Our journey
From its beginnings in Cameroon to a growing international community.
Founded in Bamenda, Cameroon, by missionaries of then Bethel World Outreach Ministries Rev Ernest Nchamukong and wife Rev Mrs Patricia Nchamukong with Br Terence Lukong, Br Ndiforamang Fusi, Br Phillip Njiwaji, Sis Fayen Odette who were young students in secondary school. The name at the time was World Changers Centre (WCC)
The vision moved into the University in 2003 as WCCF in Buea, led by Br Terence Kibula and other satellite branches, marking the birth of World Changers Campus Fellowship (WCCF)
WCA Yaounde was born in the student rooms of 'Bonas', a student residential quarter of the University of Yaounde I, by Br Leonard Ngarka, who had been a member of WCCF in Buea the previous year and later blossom under Br Terence's leadership from 2007
Growth and progress in Education and career saw the graduation of some members into the professional milieu. With this came the birth of the World Changers Professional Network. This was a major milestone as members now active professionals could leverage on the training received in the campus fellowship to impact change in their respective market spheres
With progress and migration, members in the US and EU start the World Changers branches of the USA and EU. A major milestone as WCA members haven travelled out of Cameroon could not find a place of fellowship and solace, building upon their development to impact nations as they go
With the growth and diversification of members into different spheres of life, the ministry transitioned from just a campus fellowship an Association, with a much wider goal of reaching the world at large as members use their leadership training to impact different spheres of influence
As our vision expanded, we acknowledged the necessity for sustainable change, impactful leadership, and the need to leverage the dynamism of our ever-evolving and technologically advancing society. This prompted a significant leadership transition, with Pastor Terence Kibula becoming the new Executive President, assisted by his deputy, Pastor Dr. Leonard Ngarka
